If you haven’t been pre-qualified for a home construction loan, we can help you to get financed through a lender that is on our preferred loan list. They will be able to determine the amount of financing that you will qualify for. If you have been pre-qualified for financing through another lender, then we can work with them too.

Not only do we specialize in building custom homes, we also can help you to find a lot to build on. Select from our many lots within Apache Wells, Gold Canyon and Mountain Whispers. If you already own a lot or have a certain location picked out, we can work with that. We want you to have a location that you will love for years.

There will be a chance that you have already thought about the floor plan and which one will work for you and your needs. If not, you can speak with one of our architects and create a custom floor plan or pick from floor plans that we have already created. Whether you need a basement, theater room or casita, we can build almost any element into your floor plan.

Our interior designers are skilled to help you to pick the right fixtures, cabinets, countertops, flooring, lighting, colors, etc. This is where you will pick the features and materials that will show off your personal tastes and unique style in your new home. Pick from affordable or luxury materials during this part.

Here is where you will be given a construction agreement that talk about the details, specifications, and budget. We will help with all the documents that are needed to receive loan approval. Once you have been approved, your plans will be given to a developer for final approval. We will also start to look for any issues that may hold up the construction process.

Once you have approved the construction plans, it will be time to start construction. The excavation is first, then the foundation will be poured and then framing will start. This is where your custom home will start to take shape. You are welcome to come to the site and watch us create your home.

To make sure that your home I being built to quality standards, your custom home will go through a thorough inspection by the upper management team, project manager and trade partners. You will be invited to visit the site and do a walk-through.

This is where you will do your inspection with the project manager to make sure that your home was built to your liking and see the quality of the Hughes Development home. Any concerns will be addressed here and the final changes that need to be made will be documented.

Welcome to your new home! The construction process is completed and you have the keys to your new home. You should not have any other issues at this point but we will be here to ensure that your home will meet your expectations as well as exceeds them.
